講演のあと、サイン会もあり、会場をあとにしたときには、わたしですらちょっとつかれ気味。

小田原までのロマンスカーの時間待ちで、本厚木駅前のエクセルシオールカフェに入った。

彼女が「あなたが注文するのと同じものにする」というので、

プレミアムフローズントロピカル、というのを、２つ、注文した。

そうしたら彼女が、「これ、おいしいね！　つかれがとれるね！　大成功！　いいのを選んでもらったわ！」と、絶賛してくれた。

そうかな、うーん、そうだな、とわたしも思って、よかったよかった、と思いながら、

新幹線の改札で作家さんを見送って、帰宅。

同居人に、「エクセルシオールのプレミアムフローズントロピカルがいたくお気に召したらしくて、さ」

といったら、同居人が、「ばかだなあ、彼女はそうやって、あなたのことをねぎらってくれたんだよ」といった。
